Actually, I bought this before it was set as region locked in Malaysia. So, I'm quite anxious if playing this game will get my account blocked for sure.

For some reason Japanese game companies (Square Enix too) have reservations about selling games to their neighbours.

I am in Taiwan and I just noticed this is locked for me too. Adding this to a long list of Final Fantasies I had to travel to another country to buy.

Some ff series are block in SEA except for xiii series ,7 and 8

Both LOS2 and MOF are region locked (unavailable) in ASIA since from the start no wonder why they locked LOS1 too.

You don't need to travel to another country just to buy some region locked games because there are still some couple of ways to get those locked games.

"Some couple of ways"? As such? I would really like to get my hands on Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City (I know it is not good, but still would like to make a collection of it) since this game is region-locked in Malaysia

You can always trade for a ROW copy of any game that is not available in your store from a reputable trader and then add it and play without any problem. In the case of "Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City" the cheapest ROW region is Canada. You can hit me up on next sale to trade for it if you want.
