Shadowrun Returns

Virus Alert
Hi everyone,

I've been seeing a lot of reports about Trojan viruses being detected when playing Shadowrun Returns. After speaking with our engineers, it’s our understanding that this issue is a false positive. We’re still going to investigate the issue to ensure that things are working correctly. When we have more information, we’ll let you know!

You might want to sticky this post, by the way. It was almost off the first page when I saw it.

Haven't run into anything like that yet, but thanks. I'll keep a lookout. Also Cool Side, so did I.

F-Secure shows the executable as trojan. Maybe sent the file to them to analyse.

Yes so they can confirm whether it really is a false positive and why the exe raises the red flag when it shouldn't.

What Maetco said and to make sure that after next AV update, the file does not get flagged again. This is a normal thing to do.

I was able to send the file to F-Secure and they confirmed that it's a false positive and they will release an update to fix the problen in their products.

Been getting the same thing with Kaspersky. I just allowed it. Should be fine.
