Hey rat catchers! With Vermintide 2 just being around the corner I wanted to make sure I knew everything about VT1's lore going in to the sequel. I've done so many matches now that the story elements have kinda bled in to GET TOMES GET GRIMS!

Is there any collection of the story?

As far as I know, the clan of rats we fight in VT1 are Clan Fester. They are stricken with an illness that prevents them from breeding. A Grey Seer took control of the desperate the clan by offering them a "cure" if they serve him. Obviously the heroes completely ruin his plans, so where does that leave Clan Fester? Are they dead? Did they seek a new companion with Chaos through the shady pact in Stormdorf?

And what of the barkeep? Playing Stormdorf and starting the Courier, the heroes always voice their suspicion of him always have information or contacts. Is he in league with an evil force? What was the deal with the stolen books and the random Cursed Rune that was shipwrecked in Death on the Reik?
