A small but dedicated set of players still play regularly, but since the game is P2P, your experience may vary.

Not that many people online in this game no matter what time I play. However, the game becomes way more fun when you are able to find a solid team. There's still newer players like me still enjoying this game, but I will soon move onto Vermintide 2 as soon as I get all the achievements I can.

I'm currently doing all the dlc on Hard/Nightmare

Very small player base I believe it depends on the timezone or setting for finding large lobbies
