A friend and I have been playing Vermintide for a couple of days now with no issues. We both installed the Quality of Life mods, mostly to make the AI companions a little more useful (for tomes) and the third person equipment stuff.

After a Hard mission I got a new orange gun for Kruber, and I went to equip it. Upon doing so my equipment slots on the right showed I did not have a gun equipped, nor could I switch to slot 2. Equipping a new weapon in the chest didn't work, so I switched characters.

Upon switching characters my friend's game locked up, and he got an error that said he might have to reinstall the game, leading to a crash. Since then we've tried a few things, but we're no longer able to connect to one another.

My gun shows up now when I equip it, but I've since switched to a different one (and character) but nothing seems to be helping.

Has anyone else had any similar issues, or know how to fix this?
