'cause apparently this is still an issue.
EDIT: I found a possible solution.
Go into the Steam properties for the game, disable all DLC, run the game, if that works then you can re-enable the DLC and it should continue working.
Looking through my email, I did email support on this. It looks like according to the emails the issue was resolved for me when they had released public test build 1.0.2.
They originally recommend I try the below, this may help you.

Hello,
First of all - we apologize for the late response. We are working hard to improve these but we are not there yet. You are able to attach logs and dumps to the ticket instead of pasting them to save space.
Your ticket have been forwarded to our tech who will go through the dump to see what might be the cause.
In the meantime I just wanted to make sure that you have run ADM Catalyst Center to make sure that your GFX drivers are up to date. Also redistributables might be something that is worth making sure they are updated:
Reinstall redistributable packages (take care to do it in this order):
1. In your Steam folder (normally installed in C:\Program Files (x86) , find SteamApps\common\Warhammer End Times - Vermintide\_CommonRedist\
2, In \DirectX\Jun2010 and run the DXSETUP
3. In \DotNet\4.5.1 and run NDP451-KB2872776-x86-x64-AllOS-ENU
4. In \vcredist\2010 and run vcredist_x64 as well as vcredist_x86
5. In \vcredist\2012 and run vcredist_x64 as well as vcredist_x86
Best wishes
