Oh wow, you're right. The ship is a tiny bit off-center when moved into the side lanes using the keyboard, making the extension lines useless. I never use the keyboard, so I've never noticed this. I guess there's barely any keyboard players, because I've found only one other thread that mentions this, and it's from seven months ago. If I was a keyboard player I'd be throwing a rabid fit on here every day until it was fixed. :p

I tested with a xbox 360 gamepad and it does the same thing as the keyboard. This is unacceptable. I'll add this to my bug/suggestion thread and email Dylan about it.

I've noticed it happen even when completely lined up on the line. Super annoying bug. (playing with mouse btw)

(Maybe if this is fixed, we shouldn't tell anyone, because it would make keyboard more viable than mouse.)

Not a bug. You were too off-center. The center of your ship has to be on the very center of the line. I have a few hundred hours in this game with the mouse and I've never had a problem.

Another related issue is that there's no way to go into shoulder lanes with keyboard, which isn't too much of a problem in most situations but would be a nice thing to have.
