Forums down - reporting bug here.
Very odd and completely game-breaking bug: My game does not recognize stone blocks as a resource.

I mean completely does not recognize them. When I have stone and train a stone carver, the stone carver uses 4 stone a turn to do.... nothing. The icon for stone blocks doesn't show up. No stone blocks appear in my stockpile. And if I go to build a permenant structure, it says I have 0 stone blocks in my inventory. When I turn on the debug command and input 'resource stoneblocks 20' or 'resource stone blocks 20', the game immediately crashes, claiming that the "Input string is not recognized" (although if you write resource adsfaisudhasdas 20 nothing happens, and resource timber 20 it'll give you 20 timber with no problem). Since you need stone blocks to build every permanent structure in the game - and since creating new saves has the exact same problem - the game is completely unplayable for me. This seems like a pretty huge bug.

Block Cutters craft stone blocks, Stonecarvers generate fame. Can't comment on the debug commands though.

Meant to say Block Cutters. They're not generating fame, it just doesn't generate any stone blocks at all despite draining my stone.

That definitely sounds weird. If it's crashing with something to do with a string it might be a language issue. What operating system language are you using?

Can you email me your DxDiag along with a save file just before you finish training the clan to contact@conifergames.com? It's easier for me to keep track of files and such that I need to look into there.

System and operating language are English. Bizzarely, this bug fixed itself, and I can't replicate it now. No idea what caused it then.

Gotcha. Yeah, might be something weird with the OS or hardware. Making computer games is fun like that. :) Let me know if you notice it again or can figure out if there are any patterns associated with it.

Jon i was on turn 412 (finally to mid game), then after a announcement about western Rome asking to prevail on battlefield, i noticed my military troops were limited to 1 hex a turn, and the ai turns took 5 times as long, then after maybe 8-10 turns game completely crashed.

I had a similar thing happen I was in the 400s somewhere and got a vandals move bug . All the saves got corrupted

It’s too bad. I was going for both 1m food and gold.
