Alway the same map
Did I miss something? Is this a bug? I can not start regular games anymore. I launch the game and it instantly throws me into a map with the seed X. I finished the map, clicked "Back to menu" and after a quick load I started with the same seed.

Are you loading? Then yes, you get the same map. Only when you start a new game you get a new map. I think Jon said something like the first three games you always have the same map, not sure about the details though.
I should probably explain the problem in more detail.
I launch the game and after its done loading, instead of getting the main menu it instantly starts a new game on the map "X". When I hit ESC the "Exit to Main Menu" button is greyed out and I can not click on it. When I exit the game and launch again, the same happens.
The map does not look like it was randomized at any point but created... Almost like some kind of campaign map. The tribes I'm getting are also the same allways.

Its not allways the same map in the first 3 games, they are just a little easier and more balanced. Also I played more than three games so thats definitely not the cause.

That does not sound right. I would probably try and delete the game entirely and start over. There are things that the game "remembers" across plays. (My UI was oversized for a while, that did not go away until I did a complete reinstall)
I reinstalled multiple times already.

Something is probably fishy with your settings. Go to the game dir. There is a settings folder, inside of which you'll find settings.xml.

In it, under cache section, make sure the following is set:
<!-- The map seed of the most recently played Group Game. If not equal to the current seed, the user cannot play on random maps. --> <LastGroupGamePlayed>x</LastGroupGamePlayed> <!-- The next game will use the fixed seed intro map, which has been chosen to provide a fairly balanced game experience. --> <UseIntroMap>no</UseIntroMap>

Simplest approach might be to just delete the settings file and let the game regenerate it. Although that will mean that the first game you play will probably be on the fixed intro map... the next new game should be on a new one.

Yeah, this sounds like a weird issue with the Settings file. Your best bet is to probably make a copy of it (so you can see what's been changed that you want to keep), delete the original file, and let the game regenerate it. If you enabled debug mode or the console or something it's possible a command was entered which has resulted in this behavior.

Fixed, thanks
