[Suggestion] A different take on feuds
I would say the current implementation of feuds is kind of lackluster. Two clans get upset, get reduced efficiency and one has to be punished (leading to more efficiency loss for that clan). It is not very involving in a good way and also makes the world feel a bit less organic. So, I propose the following change could be an interesting thought:

Normally what would happen with feuds back in the day was that the clashing clans would hate each other to the extent that they would systematically kill off their rival clan's members. So what I suggest is that the feud mechanic be changed so that you can no longer just punish away the feud (it really makes no sense, you don't have that kind of authority) and instead of the clans in question losing immediate efficiency and get upset with you, they instead start removing families from their rival clan. Technically, just change the clans' growth to decline whenever they are on the same tile.

Obviously you would need a way to stop this, and a way for it to stop itself (you don't want players to get an easy out to get rid of "bad" clans). If the feuding clans are settled, then ordering one clan to become active instead would stop them from killing each other. If they are in the same warrior group, simply placing one of them in a new or other group on another map tile would be enough. This would not completely solve the problem though, and nor should it. If the clans ever get together on the same tile again, the feud continues.

The only way for the feud to be stopped, would be for one clan to "win". I would suggest that the way this is done is when one of the clans reaches a threshold of population, or that a set number or families get killed (down to a minimum of 1 surviving family). This would mean that the bigger clan would always win, which I guess kind of makes sense. You could of course include some randomness to the equation if you prefer that instead.

The whole deal with this new system, is that you get two choices: Either keep your clans running efficiently by changing up your tactical deployment, or you lose efficiency by letting the clans duke it out for a while. It would be up to you.

So, this was just some food for thought. Feel free to comment on the suggestion or if you have other neat ideas or changes to it that would make it better. The game has a lot of potential and what appears to be a passionate developer, so here's to hoping it gets better along the way.
