DFuxa Plays This Game

Greetings all, I'm Davion, and I am pleased to announced that I have put up a let's play series for this game - DFuxa Kicks Up - Jon Shafer's At The Gates - Picts

As one can probably guess from my playlist title, this follows and adventure with the Picts. I played with them on Normal Difficulty from the start of the game to where I stomp Constantinople and win the game. I picked the Picts as I didn't necessarily want to show off the Goths (since they are unlocked by default) but I didn't want to play as a Tribe that was too far off from the Goths in gameplay either. The tone of the videos were also made to show At The Gates in the best light possible.

I will note that these are not the only videos for this game I'll be putting up either as I have another playlist, this time with a failed run, going into the game with the Avars. That playlist is quite different from the Picts as the Avars are obviously quite different - but also because I am much more critical of the game in the Avar videos. I'll try to remember to make another post in the future here when they get uploaded.

Maybe do more let's play videos in the future of the game - assuming some rather notably updates come out or if more elements of the game get fixed.

DFuxa Kicks Up - Jon Shafer's At The Gates - Avars is now up on my channel for viewing.

This was a failed run I did after the Picts in Hard mode - though in all honesty I wasn't really trying to win the game as more so to show off aspects of the gameplay that I feel fall short. I did get a ways into the game though and I'm sure a more experience player 'could' have lasted longer - but I'm not that competent at playing the game yet.Maybe in the future?

I will likely have more videos recorded for this game down the line but I'll note these will be the only videos from me for version 1.3. I may possibly skip doing anything for 1.4 depending on what the next update holds too as a note. Everything all really depends on what Jon has for us in the next update.

I've waited quite a bit for an update 1.5 but it seems rather fruitless to keep waiting for it. As such I have decided to put up a final let's play run for this game in the current version, 1.4. It will starting being available on the Forth of July at 10:45 ADT.

DFuxa Kicks Up - Jon Shafer's At The Gates - Goths v1.4 is a run dedicated to showing off the state of the game as it is right now if someone was to jumping into the game without knowing anything. I basically try to show off everything I haven't yet shown off in the other Let's Play video playlists I've done while making it possibly useful for those looking to learn how to play the game too.

Overall though, this will be it I think for any video recordings from me in regards to this game as I don't intend to be checking back here for another version update all that much now that a year has pretty well passed.
