Poor Deer
The hunters fight to get a permit to hunt them. The local butcher shops process their meat and sell it. Even the local grocery shops sell venison.

But here, it's not considered food (missing from the caravan), Ranchers can't pen them in, the butcher doesn't list it nor does the meat guy. Very unfortunate and the clannies are quite upset over this slight and hope it will be fixed in the future.

You can use hunters and poachers on them. Basically, like berries, they are a no-building resource.

This brought another game to my mind... There the deer were tended.
