At the Gates was released on January 23'rd 2019 and is only in it's 3'rd year. It got updated in the summer of 2020 so a new update is expected (by me) sometime soon
I also said Huntsman instead of Hunter in the Here are the why's:
Although the Huntsman would be a great fit for animal husbandry, I just don't know what would be swapped out as that would leave Honor down 2 and animal husbandry up 2
just to name a few and this is from memory since i haven't played in 6 months
1. western romans and mongols will wreck u immediately if you start near them. no way to get them to stop ; only thing u can do is reroll a new game
2. if you are not near said factions, they will wipe each other and every other faction out by mid game. it looks post apocalyptic
3. neutrals all have the same names and there's really no way to know who you're declaring war on
4. AI factions don't know how to develop. they only work with what they start with. they end up all stacked in the village with nothing to do mid to late game
5. your people will kill themselves in the winter if you don't manually stop them from doing so
6. no way of negotiating trade agreements with other factions
7. if you get even close to another factions' borders with an explorer they will give you a warning then declare war. No way to stop this other than back away quickly
1. not a bug. I am pretty sure it is intended, I built a galley and left their land. I found an uninhabited island to claim for myself
2. yeah that ♥♥♥♥ happened ( IRL as well ) I don't see that as an issue. Most, if not all X4 games that include Wars have that happen
3. They're your no name brand food
4. Your food is molddy
5. You slave driver you
6. Yeah some trade agreements would be cool ~ I have an ally so trading with him would be pretty cool. ALthough that would be a feature we would like to have added and not an AI bug. Still 'trippy hippy strobe lights, glitter bombs going off' uck yeah I would love some TD's with my ally
7. I have built roads in other nations they are pretty chill. Did you piss them off? Well I should actually ask the opposite. Did you pucker up first?
Additionally they don’t specifically call out a camp so it’s a crapshoot if you get the right one
