Why the game died.
The dev was stupid enough to make it buy to play instead of keeping it f2p and keeping the option to pay for the tron skin and vehicles. This ultimately led to a large loss of players and the game dying. Thanks dev, I said that would ruin the game and it did. This game could've been so much more.

Blame the publisher to be honest. As the console edition was in developement hell due to Xbox Restrictions. As a beta tester, don't blame everything on the developers now days. As it is always the publisher's fault as the publisher has the rights to the video game rather than the developer as you have to get the money to develop the game by selling it to the publisher. As it's not easy to self-publish. I would be okay if they made the price from fifteen to five dollars as the DLC will eventually charge more than the game.

Please don't put the negativity on the developer, it's more so the publisher. As a similar instance happened with Indiegala and Blockstorm. Guncraft could have been so much more, but this is what happens when you can't self-publish a game. This is why Murder Miners is STILL around. I have no experience with the free to play days of Guncraft. So please ARCHIVE that version. Guncraft functions are completely dead.
