Did you tried to open textures with paint net ?
Yeah I just discovered both. Already replaced one of the Twi'leks in Act 2 Level 1 with another. My goal is to see if I can get all weapons at the start of the level.
Or you're talking about textures?
Both model swap AND textures
Here I replaced the Twi'lek with a Bando Gora. I thought I could see it dance but by default it seems it uses the same animations as the original: https://ibb.co/vBd9XbV
Also, since I simply replaced a civilian model, it will not attack you and it has the same health as a civie. It will still die giving off that red aura though: https://ibb.co/1ZJ0Jnc
I look forward to seeing mods eventually make their way online.
For now, replacing textures and models is the easy part (check the screenshots I posted here). It's now getting them in a proper distributive format as all the files are condensed into one. Making a .buny is not possible either (at least AFAIK).
Dont know how to do that at the moment. Sound files are in .fsb format and so most sounds are in one files. I think this is how it was for many PS2 games. After researching online, it is possible, but I need to find the tools to do so.
I've always wanted to change a few aspects of the game, like reducing the amount of respawning enemies on certain maps, or keeping corpses around after they die.
None that I know of.
