So far so good. But what now? I tried the following:
Saved the emulator file , and let the programm run while i start JD2.
I copied the Xi3 into the BIN folder, without renaming, in adition t XI9
I renamed the xi3 to xi9 and replaced the xi9 from the bin folder. (as you mentioned in your topic)
But nothing helped. Did i make any mistake or forget something while configurating or saving the emulator xinput?
I cant reconfigure the buttons before JD2 starts (in the JD2 configuration)
I cant use the pad at all in game.
I also tested playing JD2 with my Fight Pad (Arcade Pro). I was not able to reconfigure the buttons, but strangely i could use it to play JD2. But it was really weired... Even Keyboard could be better than this.
I am getting really frustrated right now -_-
And yes, the game pad works, since i can play Mark of the Ninja or Street Fighter X Tekken with it.
You need to press save when the exe is open so that a new .ini file is created. You need to place the x360ce.ini file and the xinput1_3.dll file in the folder where xinput9_1_0.dll is located. You then need to rename "xinput1_3.dll" to "xinput9_1_0.dll". (make sure to backup the old one)
That should do the trick, you don't need to open or do anything with the x360ce.exe. If you're still having trouble, I think steam is "fixing" the installation by putting the old dll file back. I would try making the file "read-only" then.
This solved my problem and i am finally able to enjoy the game :3
The mistake i made: forgot to copy the .ini file. (I didnt see that it was necessary, and it didnt have the .ini ending.
I am stil unable to rebind my keys in the JD2 starting configuration but that is no problem with this emulator. And after several tries and errors i am also able to lean back and forth with my analog stick and not the pad.
Thank you very much again :)
