This is so sad. Startet the Game and cant use my controller.
There is a launcher. If i go to configure controlls. i can not switch to controller.

Even if i try to play the game with keyboard, it does not work.
the game do not recognice any inputs. it isnt even possible to go to the menu.

i am so disapointed.
i hope there will be a patch....

you must be trolling or maybe you just have very bad luck. the game runs fine with a 360 controller. you don't have to change the controls in the launcher, just plug in your controller before you start the game, then start and play with the controller. in the menu, you also can use your mouse, to see if the game reacts at all.

Sorry to look like Troll.
But the game doesn't react to any input.
Even Mouse or Keyboard.
The Intro Movie plays and thats it. No Menu, nothing. I think i have to press a button to go to the menu. I tryed anything. there is no reaction. I have to kill the game with Task Manager. :-(

I have no idea why this could be the case. I hope someone else can be more helpful than I am.

OK.
I deleted tho local content and redownloaded the Game.
Now it works!

The only thing thats not so good, is the launcher.
can it be disable?

Sorry for doublepost.

Found out how to disable launcher:

1. rename "JD2Launcher.exe" to "JD2Launcher.exe.bak"
2. rename "JoeDanger2.exe" to "JD2Launcher.exe"

Now this game is perfect for Big Picture :-)

Nice trick! The launcher is not ideal indeed. On my computer the launcher does not completely shut down after quitting the game. Steam still thinks I'm in the game, until I end the launcher in task manager. This way, my "time played" went up 15 hours in one day yesterday.
