Any News?
Are there absolutely any news about this game?

If it's deader than dead, then i think we should report it to steam so that nobody can mistakenly buy it. Steam has refunds sure but still...

I remember someone wanting to make a community patch for it?

I really would like to see someone to take over this game's development. Of course I doubt it though. If anything the community or a new developer would need the source to this game to continue it and get out ALL of the major bugs and kinks. If we don't get access to that, which we will not, the chances of this game continuing development, which it won't, is a pipe dream sadly.

Given that there is at least one attempt to reverse engineer Assault Horizon, and how virtually unsupported games like GTA San Andreas (the very first version, the latest versions are protected against changes although there is way to disable such protection), Battlefield 2, and Battlefront II 2005 (though BFII has multiplayer update from Disney to route the servers), i think it's left to the community to reverse engineer the game.

The question is, if there is anyone left in the community, who would do just that? The game has so many kinks and bugs, it would be a huge mess to sort out and to be able to continue from where TimeSymmetry left off.

I would but Ogre is a very old an outdated engine. I love the concept of this game tho and I can see a spiritual successor with alot more potential.
Loved making mods in this game.
