Yukikaze's FAF planes in Vector Thrust
So i managed to RIP (emphasis on rip, with bold and underline text) the following aircraft from Yukikaze:
FFR-31 Silphid
FFR-31MR/D Super Sylph
FFR-41MR Mave
F/A-1 Fern(/Fawn/Fand) I
F/A-2 Fern II

I acquired a 2011 3ds max, read the tutorials on Vector Thrust, so i thought, like so many game i've been through "I've gone through the tutorials, i can do it on hardcore, right?"
But nope. I was deadly wrong.
So i want to ask for help. I am stuck with these blank models (No material, no skins, etc). and i really want to see them in Vector Thrust.
Can anyone help me? I can upload all the model i have some where. Like Mediafire or something.
Thanks in advanced

sadly thanks to copyright, we would only see them as user created mods ingame ...

True, They need to be uploaded as a mod. TimeS can't implement them in game, as that would Violate the Copyrights of whoever owns Yukikaze.
And that's coming from a person who hates Copyright.

I love the Yukikaze planes so I would love it if someone made a mod for them. Maybe you could contact the creator of that Morgan mod?

You ring up the Area 88 guys first and then we'll talk.

With the exception of the F-200 (a Firefox ripoff) in UN Squadron, yeah.

Area 88. I haven't watched the anime. But i have the Snes game. God that is intense.
I did said 'anyone', didn't i? TimeS can't do it because of the copyright. But any of you third-party modder can.
Can anyone give me some contacts as well?

I believe I have a friend who can help if you have the 3D models. Could you send them my way? (not sure if supposed to be doing this if dev but eh)

Now you've mentioned it that I remember I still have those ripped plane models from that lame game Rebel Raiders: Operation Nighthawk. I'll upload them whether anyone's interested.

Hell, anything. Would be amazing if we got in their good graces.

I'll admit, we didn't even consider Area 88 when VT was just lifting off. It just so happens we fell into the same lieu as them in aesthetics and tone, at least in my head, with what we're working on with the world and campaigns.

I've considered VT what an Area 88 videogame would've looked like recently, not really an Ace Combat lookalike anymore, in my opinion.

We're researching Area 88 a bit more and see what we can draw from it, and I have to say if we didn't acknowledge it, we would've lost on a lot of things. It was there before Ace Combat, correct me if I'm wrong, and it introduced the light of combat flight action and drama in print before AC got the chance, at least in the West.

Now Area 88 makes me feel all sorts of things personally, even if I haven't completely watched the series, but the rush of the kill, the nature of killing and mercy killing, the whole killing = money/escape thing, there are things we hope we can touch.

That being said I would've shot down Shin for a Klondike bar, but not for the sake of killing him, just to make his suffering stop.

its also alot about trust and betrayal. i also recommand you to read the manga if you want to know more about the Area88 story !
and i think Area88 was also a big thing in japan for all these mil-aviation otakus.

some iconic jets are allready in, you could make a campaigne just around the F-14, F15 and J35 Draken alone, with tons of Mig21's as enemys and maybe 29's and SU27'S as boss enemys ... oh also starfighters could be used as redshirts, they're maybe not A-4's or F-4's but they are close enough hehe

May contain spoiler but I thought there's a rumor about an upcoming Area 88 DLC skins for Ace Combat Infinity?

I don't see how, they don't have the F-8, F-5, or F-20 in that game... I don't think ANY of Shin's aircraft are in that game. About the only skin they could do right now is Mickey's F-14.

Anyways, too bad the Manga for Area 88 was never finished in English, and the chances of it being picked up by some company and translated at this point are slim to nil.

I'd have to say Area 88's popularity is at least somewhat responsible for Ace Combat's existence though, They have at least three things in common after all: Mercenary Air Forces, Super Weapons, and Canyon/Ravine runs.

On a final note, one thing that I really find odd, is that they got rid of the best thing about Assault Horizon in Infinity, the ability to paint your damn plane!
