Too many female children.
I have this weird problem which seems to happen almost in every new game. There are just too many females being born but not enough males almost every generation. Currently I have 10 children and 8 of them are females. So not enough males to from couples and make babies. As a result my population has been steadily declining after I reached around 50.
Any solutions?

You're right the game did balance it out. In the next couple of years I had more male babies. And it seems I had too many houses instead of enough houses. So couples kept splitting and didn't have babies anymore.

Once you build the town hall, you can see stats like the number of houses and families in your colony; only build new houses when the latter is greater than the former.
