BUG PATCH UPDATE
Hey Everyone,

We wanted to write you this update so everyone knew where we were at with Rekoil. First off, we really appreciate everyone who tried out Rekoil yesterday, we thank you for your support. We are aware that some people had experienced frame rate lag, as well as a couple of other bugs that affected performance. We know this is unacceptable for an FPS and we apologize for anyone who experienced the frame rate issue. We have been working tirelessly to search for the clues, and we believe we have found the culprit in the build.

Over the next couple of hours, we will be rolling out a Bug Patch for the performance issues that we saw arise yesterday. There still may be some work to do, but we believe this will be a significant step in the right direction.

Other fixes we have addressed are Friendly Fire being set to default “OFF”, as well as remove the floating 2nd weapon mesh being seen in Team matches, game type voting disabled, changed the PHYS X bullet casing to a less performance heavy particle effect, increased TDM and DM scoring limits and adjusted round timers.

Also, the way our server system is setup, it allows 3rd parties to run their own servers, and we are seeing many of those at this point. While this is great, we would like to encourage the following player limits for servers as it will greatly increase the fun of the game.

Death Match = 8-10 Players, 8 being recommended.

Team Death Match = 12-16 Players

Domination = 12-18 Players

Capture the Briefcase = 12-16 Players

Team Hold the Briefcase = 12-16 Players

Hold the Briefcase = 10-12 Players

Rekondite = 8-12 Players

Again, these aren’t mandates, but encouraged for optimal game play.
To sum it up, we are indeed doing all that we can to make everything as smooth as it can be. So please, keep the comments coming…

Thank you for issuing the update. Unfortunately I see all the server pings are 400+ on my end. Is this because I'm the only one from US, and all the servers are offshore?

We're still rolling out the patch to the servers at the moment. Just testing with one live at the moment to make sure we set it up right before rolling it out to all of them.

currently, none of the servers that we provide except one have completed patching yet.

I just tried to join a server and was redirected because the Host has downloadable content I do not have. Is this the server you are testing atm?
