Fueling Cargo Truck
I am struggling to fuel the cargo truck, I have two tanks of methane but am running out of oxygen before I can get the second one installed.

You get 9 parts Oxygen processing Martian rock with the Large Materials Refinery. Martian soil gives you 8 parts.

The cargo truck will only mount ONE methane tank, on the driver's left side, top position... the other three cargo truck tank mounts will only take oxygen :-)

Perhaps you need bigger barrels? There are mods that give various sizes. Filling them will take more effort of course but at least your range will increase. I always seem to end up with a surplus of oxygen.

Gotta be careful with modifying barrels... if you mod the size of the barrel yourself it can't be any bigger than about 300, as a barrel of 500 will be impossible to lift... you can only slide it around the ground, and your hand is red when you grab it!

This is true. Unless you alter the weight as well. ;)

Another way to go would be to decrease fuel consumption, by increasing engine efficiency perhaps.
