Um, you mean the rover? Cause the lander was the stationary vehicle... ie. it just crash/lands onto the planet.

I had a similar issue with my rover after leting way too much time pass (like several months) and I guess it just has an unfortunate malfuction and all I could do was shutting it down and sending another one to Mars

I'm getting standby mode immediately on deploying a vehicle. Whether it's landing or in the Mars Yard, the vehicles seem to be starting out dead. I can add every type of battery, RTG, solar sell, etc., and it still starts in low power mode (even though the power level indicator shows that it's fully charged), and effectively leaves the vehicle paralyzed.

I'd tell you all you need to know if I had launched the game even once in the past 2 and a half years... Sorry buddy, I have no idea what could be the issue
