i think i'm not the only one having seen this , what's the status of this un-official update ?

i'm not requesting a ETA , just want ot know how it's turning out (if it's still in progress , or abandoned). there are no bad answers : if it's discontinued, it's discontinued.
but if it's still in work , how much has been done since june 10th ?
