why is the game 32 bit?
this is a game that was made a while ago, its peak was in 2013 and its a very good game still. i just have a few problems, well its all related to 1 huge problem called 32 bit game trying to be 64 bit. this game is limited to a small fraction of a computers memory while needing quite a bit more. with a few very useful mods to reduce grinding such as resource cables and refinery lock as well as a few others. they are all great mods, but when i play with them, it runs at a high of 20 fps on low settings but i can get it to 30 by making it look like a cartoon. multiplayer is unplayable with any of these mods as you walk at the speed of snail smell and jumping makes it feel like your in a super slow mo video. without the mods im sure it runs fine, ive done it before. it is just not fun. can anyone provide a little bit of insight about why its a 32 bit game? also how can i have those mods without the horrible frame rate?

The game engine was 32-bit. It's a repurposed engine from another game and the dev team for this game was really small so they likely didn't have the ability to convert it to 64-bit.
