Bug report: self-driving non stop buggy
It is a mysterious bug. While I was driving my buggy, it hit a rock and stuck on it. So I get off the buggy, grabbed the front left wheel and tried to push the buggy off the rock. All of a sudden, the buggy went off my control and started reversing automatically without driver. The surface was flat so it is not a gravity effect. The buggy moved even faster then my character runs, which means that I could not catch up with it. This is ridiculous. I could have lost the buggy if it had not been stopped by a huge stone.

Another minor bug is, if you move and access the 3D printer's panel simultaneously (e.g. press "E" at the panel with "A" pressed down), you will find that the panel interface popping up on the screen. However, your character is still moving in the direction he was moving, even if you release all the key pressed. Now you can access your printer from maybe thousand meters away. LOL.

The buggy thing is still happening somewhat, I was playing a game yesterday and while driving the buggy I accidentally hit E twice and jumped out, buggy never stopped, as OP said, almost lost buggy but was saved when a rock upset it. I've had the printer thing happen recently too but is no big deal, you just have to stop your character from walking away

One thing that drives me nuts though is how uncontrollable things can get when you step on a cable, and don't dare let a cable drag from your cargo truck or say goodbye to your ramp, lol a strong cord to rip that gate off
You are experiencing physics being played out in the engine. Everything has physics applied and being applied from whatever is acted upon it.

For jumping out of the buggy... nothing I can help with there... just don't hit 'E' or remap the key.

If it was just physics then why does it never stop or even slow down, it was just sheer luck it hit a rock

It's a problem, so maybe rather than telling a player ways to avoid it happening, someone may want to actually fix the problem, not just put everything on the player thanks

And a power cord ripping a metal ramp off a truck is just a wee bit unrealistic

There is no 'fix', the game isn't being developed anymore. Which means going forward you should remap 'E' to avoid hitting it and exiting your vehicle. Thus avoiding your issue altogether.

And..

Yes, Physics. Unfortunately, it never got sorted out and adjusted to where things don't 'fly across the map' as you put it. So in this case you need to move things slowly and walk carefully around the area you are working in.

Space isn't a race, it isn't about how quickly you get something done. It's how safely and planned out you are in the end.

I'm sorry if this doesn't sort or solve your problem. But quite honestly it's all I can offer to you or anyone else.
