As a side note I once found the Supply Drop container with the items (resources, panels etc) in the data extraction now I cant seem to find the thing; any ideas where it is? I will look again later. Reason is I want to change the Aluminium to Aluminum on the onboard containers to match my Resource Mod descriptions.

The rest of the post isn't important unless your trying to enable the freefly cam in manned campaign on regular mode (TKOM.exe).
Thank you for the help!
I can make money in scenarios, but want to do research before any of the items are built; I spose research only applies to the Robotics section of the game. I might be able to do something with the money researchwise maybe I am looking for ideas here...
Whats the difference between a Campaign and Scenario?
I think I have an idea of what is going on better now though and what I can and cannot do with the Editor and Scenarios.
A campaign would have scripted files in some sort of linear progression. I will check out some other authors' Scenarios although I have a better idea of scripting, giving the player an idea in game of what to do and what missions need to be accomplished and in what order to survive; I am just wondering what to do with all that money he is going to make!?
The manned missions are vanilla so you can modify it however you like. It's not user made so there is no need for credit or asking for permission. Same goes for the robotics section. You'd only have to ask permission or give credit if it was a scenario off the workshop you wanted to modify.
There isn't a difference between scenarios and campaigns. Infact there are no real campaigns as we just call it the 'manned missons' basically they are just scenarios with objectives added to them which gives the player something to do. Instead of just making a couple things sandbox-style using the editor and then just playing it.
Yes. Money is only used in the Robotics scenarios for building better rovers etc.
Robotics scenarios are here: Steam\SteamApps\common\Take On Mars\Scenarios\Campaign which sits outside the 'manned' directory which is the manned mission section.
Saves are placed here: Steam\userdata\(your steam id)\244030\local\(your profile name)
.save - SP .scnsave - MP .spaceprog - Manned or Robotics
If you want to edit and save scenarios you work on they have to be placed here to save them while editing in-game: Steam\userdata\(your steam id)\244030\local\addons\scenarios You load these by going to 'Scenarios' menu while at the main menu or going to the 'Editor' and then clicking the disk icon with the arrow pointing up which is at the top of the screen.
After saving you can then move the scenario file back into your mod or addon directory.
Connect the Rover Campaign to a Scenario, in that the Scenario is a Manned Mission that continues where the Rover campaign leaves off.
The Manned Scenario is such that the technology available on the planet that he or she eventually goes to, is only available after the research and money has been made to go to Mars on the Manned Scenario.
How exactly is this accomplished !? The Honour System !
There will be technology such as drilling and mining for minerals; before you drill you have to know what is there; to do that you Explore, Photo, and Analyze in that order to progress, all the while gaining the research and equipment necessary to complete the Manned Mission.
I am not leaking out the details, but there is a way to literally connect the Robotics Campaign to a more realistic Scenario ! I am working out the details; if anyone knows feel free to spill the beans ! I probly will when I get it confirmed !
I gave up on adding a manual drop and dont even know how I would do that for a rover; and all drops have to be done initially at game start; I opted to drop 2 rovers so I could get on with testing my Mod and scenario.
But that was my idea; if I could use the timer script to drop a rover later on in the scenario ... ?
