Hi, Waagenator.

Keen Software House is continuing to add new features to Space Engineers.

This competition is an opportunity for players to showoff their creations and possibly have their station added to Space Engineers. :steamhappy:

Why would they have to pay for a space station? Keen has no reason to sell Space Stations as DLC

I have a question, For the contest submission PCU Limit of 5000, does that mean TOTAL PCU when you go to paste/build it in game OR the PCU total that shows up in your Info tab for that BP? because when you grind down blocks below functional it takes away from your actual used PCU but it still counts the full cost of the block in the info tab. i like using blocks in different build states so i just want to know which PCU count you are using to qualify submissions for the contest.

Thanks

I can already tell that the secret winner of this contest is the community. So many nice stations to choose from in the workshop, and the contest has just begun yet.

This should be expanded on, players making content. We have plenty of good designers, this way KEEN can use pretty much for every building ever an unique design, that would be impossible if the developers self create content, but improve the game that much more.
Keeping that up with more than stations I hope

I don't understand this PCU thing either.

"PCU (Performance Cost Unit)

Limits are the next iteration of block limits. Its purpose is to keep server performance in a more effective way than just limiting block types. Every block has its own defined PCU value, which says how much performance impact a block has under full load (when all its systems are activated). More PCU, more performance heavy the block is. PCU can be defined per world, as a pool, which can be used for building. This pool is then split per player, per faction, or global. Limits per faction are also a new feature introduced in this build. Please note, that you can change the default PCU limits in the Experimental mode."
