(Problem) Steam: Error accessing service
I recently tried uploading one of my projects to the workshop only to find that this error had came up. I decided to restart space engineers and then try again, still didn't work. Then I thought that it might just be that blueprint that has a problem. So I started a new world and made a quick new blueprint, and tried posting it, that also didn't work. After 3 days of this problem I decided to re install space engineers completely. It restarted and I opened up a new world and tried posting a blueprint. I still encountered the same error. I found some forums online and I couldn't find much about the problem. Can anyone help?

It worked and uploaded to the workshop! Thanks for your guys help, and I hope doing this will help any future players with this problem. :steamhappy:

Hi, it may just be a temp Steam down, the Workshop was down 2 hours ago but now seems back on.

If not a Steam down problem = Read those 2 similar where players were able to fix :

I've had a lot of steam connection issues over the last few days, mostly just a case of waiting a few mins, once was a bad disconnect that my rig did not like, but a restart fixed that.

Either way, it's not a SE issue, it's a Steam issue.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Same issue myself to this day, multiple re-installs, file wipes and everything. Still wont upload me anything to the workshop but this grey box with 0mb's.

The only workaround is to manually go into my local blueprint, delete the thumbnail, then upload the same blueprint and it works.

Thank you very much, had the same problem and it fixed it. However, it is very frustrating to have no thumbnail on the mod I just posted. How would I go about updating the mod with the thumbnail? (I'm very new to modding, so not sure how I would do that).

It was added to the pinned green messages of the bug report subforum where you will find new information about "not able to publish with thumbnail".
