Milestone update #1 (M1) is going live now!

Will it always be ski only, or will snowboards be added later?

The new update is sick !!

Everything in this update improve the game in the good way. Controlling the character is easier and anticipate the flips (like in SSX) is a great idea. I saw that you improved the second snowpark with the halp-pipe and added the module of the Tanner Hall invitational.

However, the speedometer (good idea too) is not realistic. I didn't get faster than 54 km/h (on a steep slope). IRL, freestylers can reach ~80 km/h on a backswing.
The halp-pipe is not working. I always fall on the coping.
Sometimes during the game, grabs doesn't work anymore and I don't know why.
The new spawn menu is great but maybe combine the old one with the new one might be better, because despite the fact that we can see the place where the character will spawn, we don't really know where in the map, except if you know perfectly the mountain.

I have not tried the multiplayer yet, but soon.

Well, I'm looking forward to see how the game grows up. You are doing an amazing job, and this update proves it !

Evereything seems to work fine. Not in Multiplayer though.

Have to say I do not like how the new rotations system is less "free" and more locked like in ssx or skate. I'm not able to do half of the tricks I could before the update. Personally I think the way you could form your tricks were better when early access released( heres an example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQvAYsKtyXI However, the prewind system and how the skier feels heavier is a great + everything else about the update. Now we only need some freakin pow! :D

Edit: I it might be releated to the same problem as not being able to pull off certain grabs, that some button combinations doesn't work. Playing with a keyboard btw.

The rotations for me are like 900 mph! lol

Love the new camera. I really like it.

Keyboard controls are messed up for me also.

I enjoyed the game much more before the update because the third person point of view has changed from being directly behind the skier to being off to the side of the skier. Can the old point of view be added as an additional option?

GOOD UPDATE

When going to windows with alt+tab, grabs are not working after that. Just bought this today so I can't say much, although I the contolrs feel a bit difficult.

Mine stopt working after the latest update :(
i did verify the game cashe,and 1 file did not validate,so gues it downloaded that particular file again,but stil the game crashed!

just validated the internal game cashe and was 100% succsesfull,but the game stil won't start,it keeps crashing!

Minor patch containing a bunch of fixes will be going live shortly, see the blog for a complete changelog.

I'm also having problem that when I crash, after that grabs are not working. Have to reload the map and then grabs are working until first crash.

Alright, send the game.log and error.dmp files present in your SNOW installation directory to filip@poppermost.se and I'll have a look at it first thing tomorrow morning.
