same here. just a white box then it says not responding and crashes. cant even find the exe file tontry run it asnadmin etc

Is anyone able to play this game on a Windows 10 computer? All I get is the white screen, also, with "The game is not working" and "shutting down". Why would Steam sell a game that will not even load?

I have tried all compatability modes and all other suggestions that I have found on this forum / Steam. Does anyone have an answer that will actually work?

Yeah sadly for me it's not the driver or a PC restart. I have just given up at this point.

I changed my native resolution to 1900 x 1080, and the game loads and runs fine now. Before, I had the same probllem as you.

After fiddling around for an hour with no you I decided to give it a try and uninstalled the game. After I re-installed it works fine in 1080p Win10_64.

For me it worked launching steam itself with admin rights.

I'm running on windows 10, gtx 970 with updated drivers and it works... but now that I've hit a re-occuring glitch that prevents me from finishing the game, I wish it had just not worked to begin with....

compatability mode for windows 8 activated in folder. started directly from it, not from steam.
problem is, u do not get achievements.

This game ran fine at first. Went to play some other games. Updated video driver once since then. 2080ti. White screen. Might be a 4k thing. Outlast was doing this to me as well. If I try 4k white screen. doesnt even matter if I change ini file. I had to set monitor to a 1080p one, force the game in 1080p. Switch monitors. Only way to get outlast to work. Delete and reinstall didnt even work.

It worked for me, the game takes about 2 minutes to start for some reason. (First no response, then black window, then white window, ending with the game eventually starting in fullscreen)
