So I recently got to the part in Chapter 9 where the Dog starts chasing after Trip and you have to try and save her. RIGHT up to this point the game was running perfectly, no performance issues at all. Now, after coming back to it from saving, the frame rate seems to have dropped, the image jumps and there is noticable lag.

I can't for the life of me figure this out. Why would it all of a sudden stop running? I tried going back t earlier levels and the same thing happens. I tried the suggestions in the lng bug thread here on the forum but those didn't work. I also tried running the game in off-line mode but that didn't change anything.

Anyone have any idea what might be causing this?
