I want to start from the beginning. The absolute beginning.

I can't seem to figure out how to delete ALL the data from my game. I played the game (and beat the game) on my account, while connected to a friend's library. I bought the game finally, and it just picked everything right back up. The number of power cells, the upgrades, all of it. Even if I start a new journey, no dice. Any suggestions?

You might have to "defeat" the cloud saving, whch could be a bit messy.

I never tried to do this, but I'd start with turning off cloud saves for the game (right click the game in the library, go to properties, and find the cloud save setting). Then delete the save files, start a new game (so you get a new save file). Exit the game and turn cloud saves back on.

When you start the game, Steam should notice a conflict between your local save and the cloud save, and it should ask you which one you want to use. Select the local saves, and your cloud saves will be toast.
