The starting situation is a bit contrived, with her performing brain sugery in the field, but it definitely shortcuts the problem of the two having to form a team: they can team up right away, and get to know each other during the story.
In terms of gameplay, she's "the best" escort mission ever because she stays in cover, moves/acts when told to, and the game almost never puts her in situations to be killed.
My issue is that she first repeadetly screws the PC (closing doors infront of him ejecting the escape pod with him on top) and then he just accepts it?
Like "oh sure, you tried to kill me before and now I just trust you that you don't screw me over when it is convenient for you"?
She just does everything in the first 10 minutes of the game to make the player dislike her and now I suddenly should be like "Sure let me risk my ass and help you!", which needs so much suspension of disbelief not even I as a pro-wrestling fan can muster that.
