AMD I think its called Virtual Super Resoltion (VSR) which I have never used.
Nvidia has Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR).
For Nvidia you have to tick the scaling factors you want. If you are only on a 1080p screen then settings a 4x scaling factor should give you 4K resolution option in your display settings.
Now try and select that resolution in game and it will render at 4K but display at 1080p. Test other scaling factors to see what your system can handle.
If you have issues selecting the 4K resolution inside the game (for me 1920x1600 is the highest option).
You need to edit the games config which can be found here
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\My Games\UnrealEngine3\MonkeyGame\Config
then load up MonkeyEngine file
press CTRL+F and search for resx and change both resx and resy to your desired resolution.
Hope this helps.
Absolute boss, thank you
