Specs, running game, etc.
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M 460 @ 2.53GHz Manufacturer Intel Speed 2.5 GHz Number of Cores 4 Video Card Intel(R) HD Graphics Manufacturer Intel Chipset Intel(R) HD Graphics Memory 6.0 GB Operating System Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1, 64-bit Service Pack 1 Size 64 Bit Edition Home Premium
With these specs, should I be able to run this game? I am just assuming not, at the moment, and only being told to post up the question by a friend.

Then there's the issue of not able to get it started at all when the .exe file "stopped working". And yes, I have read and attempted the first pinned topic, it fails to work. So what am I to do at this point?

Verify cache.

I am familiar with this. I have. Multiple times. On your first verification after download, it will tell you it's all good. Then you will run it, the .exe file will stop working, and then verify again, and it will tell you 5 files needed to be fixed and all is well. Rinse and repeat.
