Is it a bug?

Hi

I've some problem with this game and I was wondering if it is a bug or my fault... Look this this screenshot:

1. It seems there's something behind all that green but I can't reach it in any way.

2. Look at the statue: I miss a piece of the puzzle but I can't find it (and I explored all the map even in lot of other zones... consider I miss only one "diamond" or whatever they are)

Can someone explain me how to solve these problems?

~the path in that screenshot opens up when you get the shard from the area below it.~

Edit: Nvm i was wrong, the path opens once the statue is complete.

You need to build the statue. There are three pieces; one is immediately to the right, one is up a bit, and the last is in the area before the forest, you shouls have seen it on your way in.
