Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath™

Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath™

New computer saved game transfer
I bought a new laptop and want to transfer my saved games from the old laptop to the new laptop. How do I copy and paste them over? I found the files on the old laptop but when I put them in the folder for the new, nothing comes up under saved games. Any help would be appreciated.

Isn't it under appdata? A quick online search tells me it should be something like

C:\Users\[***]\AppData\Roaming\Command & Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath\Profiles

I also found some sources saying that the savegames are not actually there, but under a subfolder named like the game under

C:\Users\[***]\Saved Games\Command & Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath\

Though it might start with "Command and Conquer 3" instead; I know there have been issues with different naming of these folders.

I guess the easiest way to find it out is to make a single savegame, so you're sure the correct folders are created, and then look for it in these locations.

That said, I thought with the TFD update, all of these games got cloud sync...

if you have OneDrive* installed and active - it "well"-known to stole game saves and configs and to broke old games

*if you have Home Edition of W10 11 - it enabled and can't be completely disabled \ removed without some commands \ utils

and i strongly recommend use an FAT16\32\exFAT file system to transfer saves - it will reset security permissions, so you don't need fix it later
hey man I just had this issue, and I fixed it by starting up the game and making a save on the new pc so I can find the saves under users on the local windows drive. I then copied and pasted the old save file on top of the new save file on the new pc. I have all of my game saves and campaign progress showing up bow.
