Quick question about Quick Backdrops
I've only recently jumped back into Fusion, making a new game. So maybe this has been brought up a ton already. I'm sorry if that is the case.

You can create a quick backdrop object so u can have a repeating pattern background object like a wall or floor and drag the repeating pattern out, for example to create a long wall. But when you place another of the same quick backdrop object it adopts the length/height of the previous placed quick backdrop. They're all synced.

I always thought you could place multiple of the same Quick Backdrop object and stretch each one individually so you can have multiple walls or floors of different sizes using the same quick backdrop object. This would be a great way to quickly build a level with repeating walls in different lengths or multiple buildings with different size rooms but the same floor texture etc.

I find it kind of odd too, because the whole point of a Quick Backdrop is to use it as a easy repeating pattern. Now I have to clone the Quick Backdrop to make a new one with the exact same pattern for each shape I use it for. That feels a bit unnecessary.

I'd love to see a tick box option for a Quick Backdrop called "Sync Quick Backdrop" or something that you can un-check if you want to use the Quick backdrop multiple times in a level, but for different shapes and sizes.

What I personally do is create a regular backdrop of tiles, and then when I want to just stretch it out to a wall, I right click it and create a quick backdrop.

But it is as you say, if it's the same object, it will keep the same dimensions.

Creating many quick backdrops wont really affect performance in my opinion, they don't count as active objects for the engine limitations either.

It does clutter up the frame tree though, so I suggest making a new folder and putting them all in there, then close that folder forever.

Re-use walls that fit to keep it cleaner.
