Lost all Campaign Progress and every Dwarf's name is "Who Am I?"

What in the world?! How do you fix this? I verified saved files, but NOTHING.

I think it was a language settings issue? If you do a forum search this has turned up before.

Update: I found a solution that fixed everything. The game requested access to the Documents folder, which I denied. After allowing access (to hopefully only the pertinent data it must access) everyone has a name and my previous progress was returned.
