Game No Longer Runs on Latest MacOS

Because MacOS no longer supports 32-bit games unfortunately. I don't know if this is anything the Devs can fix without porting their game to 64-bit.
I'm not even a main Mac guy! Just got one for work though and wondered about playing during Xmas travel, but it won't launch the game now due to 32-bit.

Devs, I'm happy to wait for Mac support on DK2 (Eventually, of course, no rush) if there's no "quick-fix" for this game. I doubt many people try to play on Mac haha! Cheers and Merry Christmas.

Hi,

a new Mac version of DK will arrive at the end of the early access of DK2 because it's made by an external studio. So 2 conversions at the same time.

Awesome and thank you for the response! As I say, no rush per se I'm loving playing DK2 on my PC. This was just something I noticed on my Mac just now. Cheers!

So glad this is happening! Wanted to re-visit Door Kickers and Steam did not warn about this being a 32bit app only. Was quite surprised when it didn't launch.

I am glad to hear this. I would like to play this game on a Mac running Big Sur and above.

Hi, as Devs said, it will arrive near the full release of Door Kickers 2. Probably before the end of 2024.

Hi, 2024 still not ended... Mac version will arrive at the launch. Anyway, the game is perfectly playable using the free tier of Nvidia GeForce Now Cloud gaming platform. Workshop Maps included.

Hi,
Dk1 is 32 bit only and both Mac and recently Steam stopped allowing 32bit apps there.

So, nothing in the immediate future. When Devs will have plans for it, they will communicate it.

Personal note, if possible in your country, I'll suggest to use the free tier of Nvidia GeForce Now cloud gaming platform.
