Arrest?
What (if any) is the benefit of arresting suspects over killing them?

In "arrest warrant" missions, arrest is mandatory.

In other missions, if you use tazer and then arrest, you make less noise.

yeah i meant random thugs not arrest warrents so it's better to use a silenced gun as it produces no noise then?
Like ther is no exp bonus to arresting

I rather use the silence weapon to put down the thugs unless I'm doing a run trying to get the arrest 100 people achievements.

AFAIK you don't get a choice between arresting or killing. If they surrender then you have to arrest them. Else they're hostile and your troopers automatically shoot them.

If you tase them you can arrest them
