" [...] à condition que l'adversaire ne porte pas de blindage "
is better to say
"à condition que l'adversaire ne porte pas de protection balistique"
ADP X635 Presentation :
" Suffisament compact pour passer les portes ,cette ADP de style classique conserve une précisio nà longue portée sans perdre en puissance d'impact "
===> " Suffisament compactE pour passer les portes ,cette ADP de style classique conserve une précisioN [space] à longue portée sans perdre en puissance d'impact "
Compacte > une arme
....précision à longue....
Pistolet Veterinary
it's Pistolet vétérinaire
In utility pouch
- Assourdissante => OK but...
- Grenade à billes => just say Grenade or say Grenade à billes and Grenade assourdissante
Armor
Blindage => it's better to say Protection balistique
"Blindage" it's a simple translation blindage it's more for vehicule
other notes :
-Translation not available On steam (game settings) , just in game option menu
- many time in weapon presentation " le XXXX (weapon)" tire des balles, it's better to say "tire des cartouches" Bullet = balle => bullet that when the ammunition is really fired and leaving the barrel
Note that some of the issues are known and accepted because of available text space limitations. All text should be able to fit interface.
But we'll still run them through our team.
Arctic Sunrise, you've already earned your keep :)
-Flash => Grenade assourdissante
-Stinger => Grenade de désencerclement
but if it's too long you can use :
-Grenade aveuglante
-Grenade à billes
How much of a problem do you think that is?
Also the veterinary has a very low firerate, in the french trad it's writed "une cadence de tir très elevée" which it means a very highfirerate, "une cadence de tir très faible" would be a better traduction.
For the stinger : there is a lot of traduction in french, but the « Hornet's Nest » (nid de frelon) is for me the best short trad.
"Assourdissante" is if the grenade make people deaf and "Aveuglante" is if the grenade make people blind. I know that in the description it's saied that the grenade do both. Maybe for better understanding the effect it's better to use "Aveuglante", but both are good.
you can call "Grenade à billes", grenade (but imprecise generic name),or grenade offensive, or grenade de désencerclement (riot, hostile demonstration)
whatsoever deafening (assourdissante) or blinding (aveuglante) grenades, the two effects combine. It's just one aspect more than another accentuate.
Hmmm, "Luigi's Diner" is more like a restaurant name. Does that apply then?
Also, "jour de paie" is as correct as "jour de paye".
