The INFRA team had to take a break to work on a complete rewrite of Open Sewer / Obensuer, another game on Steam set in the same world as INFRA. The original game, while playable, was not very good, and was slipping behind the standards expected of a modern computer game. Work on this rewrite is at an advanced stage, and if you buy the game now you will be playing a large proportion of the new version of the game.
It will take some months (a year ?) to complete this rewrite -- II have no real idea, I'm just guessing -- and once it is complete the development team is expected to turn its attention to Whiprock.
To be honest, this means you're probably years away from a finished Whiprock DLC. I hope this isn't too annoying.
I haven't, and I wasn't aware it existed. But thanks to you, I'm off in search of it!
Edit: Found it, and am loving it. Thank you so much for telling me about it!
