I had a forking path between taking the elevator up, or going down the spooky tunnel that required a fuse. I checked both and saw that they both had me ending up in very different looking places, but I assumed they would arrow back in to a main path at some point. I don't know if the game geometry is consistent but I rode out and away so far on the raft and progressed through a puzzle area involving some generators and I don't think I'm anywhere near the buildings I saw after taking the elevator up. Should I reload a save? I think I have one from before I ended up around here.
