I know this is a known issue, but I haven't found any way to fix it. When I enter the metro after the water treatment plant the game crashes on the loading screen.

From the articles I've seen it has been supposedly fixed in an update, but I'm still having the problem with the newest version of the game (I bought it yesterday). I tried vallidating the game files but it didn't work. Any advice?

EDIT: Found that turning the memory setting to low fixed the issue.
