No mouse cursor in the game.. ??
When launching INFRA, the white loading bar moves from left to right, then Windows 10 makes a "device disconnected" sound, and the title screen appears.

Anywhere in the game where I am accessing a computer terminal with clickable buttons on the screen, I can not see any mouse cursor. If I move the physical mouse, I will sometimes see buttons highlight on screen, as the invisible cursor passes over them.

It apparently is not possible to not use the mouse and only use the WASD controls to move the highlight from one button to the next.

,

If I press Alt-Tab and go back to the Windows 10 desktop, the mouse cursor is visible and works as expected. If I again use Alt-Tab back to the game, there is still no mouse cursor visible.

,

If there is for example a single clickable button in the center of a simulated computer screen in the game, it is virtually impossible to click on this single active button, as I can not see where the cursor is.

Also oddly when in one of these computer screens with single active buttons where I can not manage to click "Exit" or "OK" for a long time of fooling with the invisible mouse cursor, it is impossible to simply exit out of the screen or error messages using Escape, or E.

I have given up in frustration a couple of times, used Alt-Tab to get back to the Windows 10 desktop, and kill the game process because I can't find any other way out of the fake GUI with no mouse cursor.

,

After the nuclear plant, there is a computer terminal with email messages. Things don't highlight on this screen when I move the mouse around so instead I find myself pressing the mouse button hundreds of time while randomly moving the mouse hoping the hidden cursor can randomly find something to click on and work properly.

I have some rather large number of curse words I would like to say about this.

Why is there no option to simply use the keyboard movement keys to move the active selection on these fake computer screens without the mouse?

Im using WIndows 7 and I have exaclty identical problems to yours: that is, my mouse is barely functional when it comes to interacting with the computer's PC screens. Takes me forever to find the HELP or EXIT box with my mouse. I see no responses to this from DEV yet other than "send me a saved game". It's an issue with how the interactivity is programmed with the game's PC screens and the user's mouse,I think.

We're currently investigating the issue, if you haven't sent your saves yet, please send them to aleksi@loisteinteractive.com.

Does that issue also happen in pause and main menu?

No it doesn't happen ANYWHERE except when interacting with one of the game's computer screens. My E button to interact, and my mouse for moving around (etc) ...the game itself...is just great except when it comes to the computer screens. I can't see my mouse cursor ANYwhere within the game, but only have to use my mouse to move around normally within the game so it's not a big deal...UNTIL I need to use the computer screens in-game.
I'll send along my save. It's at a point JUST before I use the E key to zoom into the computer.
THanks for responding. Honestly, this has been probably the most engagin and intersting computer games I've ever been challenged by. I've enjoyed it immensely for over a month now...except when I have to interact with one of the game's computer screens. THen it's a crap shoot :-)

I just emailed my latest saved game. My latest autosave point is where I described above.

I havn't heard back yet from the saved game I emailed a couple of days ago. WOuld love to continue in chapter 5, buit I cannot unless I can use my mosue or keyboard when navigating the game's computer screen interface.

Asked Aleksi what's the status with this issue, and he told me that he didn't receive save game, and asked if you got his reply?

We have been also busy this week shipping Indiegogoperks, thats why longer delay than usual...

Oskutin...I haven't yet received a response from Aleski (just rechecked my email as well as spam folder and junk folder...no replies. ON Wednesday (two days ago), I did email to asleski my saved game.
Good luck with Indiegogoperks!
INFRA is a brilliant game, both in conception and execution. Enjoying it immensely. Just wish the game's in-computer interface was a bit easier :-)

Looks like you're not receiving my emails for some reason.. I'm missing some files for your saved game. Can you send me the ".sav" files ("autosave.sav", etc.) from the "infra/save/76561198033489159" folder?
dohh 17 Feb, 2018 @ 6:47am
I'm not in the original area I was stuck in anymore, so that quick save doesnt exist...since the game only provides 4 save slots and a quick save, I only have my latest quicksave, from a hacker's computer room in chapter 5,where I have to disable an alarm with a code. Luckily (well, not really for me), this quicksave also shows how impossible it is for my mouse to interact with the game's PC screens, as I have to go on the screen and click the numbers on the number pad with my mouse. ANyway, please tell me how to email this to you (what address to send it to)?
Thanks.

You can send the files to the same address as before: aleksi@loisteinteractive.com. I'm still getting your emails even if you're not getting mine. Just send me all the ".sav" files and I'll figure out which one it is.

thank you so much. Will do. THe latyest quick save is after I enter in the 4 digit alarm code (which I found in the log file). I then have to select DOORS or SENSORS to deselect them (according to a video walkthoguh) but my actual mouse does not allow me to select anything but the four select bars on the left, or EXIT.

I have emailed you my latest auto save. My emai is dohh@aol.com. I have yet to receive an email back from you, and it's not going to my spam box either, which is weird! Thanks for your time, attention, and help. It's a brilliant game and I only wish it was easier for me to interact with the game's coputer screens. THis always gbrings wherever I am in the game to a screeching halt!

I can't reproduce the issue on my machine. The cursor is always visible for me in the computer screens.

Is the cursor also invisible for you in the main menu?
dohh 17 Feb, 2018 @ 9:14am
Yes, it is. My cursor from using my mouse in this game has ALWAYS been invisible. I've tried going through different settings in the game and nothing changes. My mouse cursor is definitely NOT invisible when using my regular PC for day to day things...just in this game.
dohh 17 Feb, 2018 @ 9:16am
Is there anything you think IN_GAME I can use to make my mouse cursor visible while using INFRA's computer screens? It sure would help my sanity :-)
Any settings you know of in INFRA's game settings that would help? (I only use mouse and keyboard, I do NOT have a controller).
also, I"m running WIN 7 (while the person who has similar problems with HIS mouse cursor, writing ABOVE, is using WIN 10).
Thanks again
