Stuck going left.
Booted up my save file, and i couldn't stop moving to the left. I can still move forwards, backwards,etc, but the game is thinking im always pressing my A key. I played the save file last night with no issues, but when i went to play it tonight im having this issue.

I've tried unplugging my Keyboard and replugging it back in, with no luck. Ive tried to remap the wasd keys to the arrow key for movement, with the same issue. Heck, i even started the game up without my keyboard even plugged in and im getting this bug. So i don't think its my keyboard being a problem. Other games work fine.

Ive cleared the cache and vailded all the game file via steam. Im kinda out of any options to fix this.

Can anyone help?


I'm currently at the point in the game right after turnip hill in the the underground shack where you need to flush out the fireplace to continue.

You have probably tried this alredy: trying to press that left key again, in case it registers and de-registers it.

Does restarting the level help?

pressing the key again does not work, same issue. and restarting the game/level doesn’t fix the issue either. i have even tried reverting back to an old save state, when i was at draw bridge in trumip hill and the issue still remains.

would it be possible for me to send a copy of my current save state? then we’d be able to see if it’s a bug in the game or a weird hardware issue.

I think that's what fixed it! I was using a wireless controller and i forgot to disconnect it.

Thanks very much! I was losing my mind for what are causing this problem.
