Game crashes when trying to load save, starting new game seems to work fine
Has anyone else encountered this, and any advice about what to do. I've made it to the sawmill twice now, saved, quit, and when trying to load the game again the game crashes.

Do you still have this issue? I noticed that you've unlocked some achievements after the sawmill.

How much RAM does your computer have? You can see this by clicking "Help" → "System Information" on Steam. If you scroll to the bottom, RAM is reported in the "Memory" section near the end.

My computer does have suitable RAM, so I'm not sure what was causing the issue. You are right that I made it farther. I got through chapter 2 in one sitting and saving and loading in chapter 3 and beyond works fine. I don't know if this matters but I haven't quit to desktop since this happened, I've always quit to menu and then quit.
