Wow, we were only aware of one soft-lock possible in the game and now we have four, all extremely unlikely.

Unfortunately the autosaves are triggered near this point, so they're both overwritten.

So I restarted the entire chapter. (Good thing this doesn't prevent from getting achievements.)
